Voltron (anime robot cartoon circa 1984) themed wooden lunchbox. Hard maple with Brazilian rosewood and purpleheart. The maple on front and back of the box has a little curl to it. Oil finish. This is what I would consider my first “fine” woodworking project.
I made this for my daughter’s 5th birthday next month. She’s a very girly-girl (likes the color pink and ballet dancing) but she absolutely LOVES Voltron.
