I just purchased one of these vises and must say I am over the moon with what this thing can do.
I have my Record vise in the conventional place and have this vise at the top end of the table, great for routing, holding large flat panels while you work on them.
Have they ever been reviewed in any woodworking mags?
Anyone else use these over the pond ?

Glad to hear you like the Z-vise. I thought I was fairly know-ledgeable of WW tools, but am coming up a little short here. I will field a question that might clear something up for me personally. I'm sure others already know.
What exactly is a Z-vise??? ha..ha..
I really don't know an would like too, unless I know the vise under another title. What can I say..?

Thanks... You are correct in I have seen them before. I did not know it was called a Z vise. I guess I need to touch up on the google thang. I never think to use it, even though I do know how. Always in a hurry. ha....

Just keep teasing me, FG. Remember I got the fixing the car job for your wedding. You and Nick could be the only people riding around D.C. with a car with no sheet-metal on the outside. he..he..
