I know this sounds stupid but does anyone here ever heard of a lacquer that would be odorless? I am in the Northeast and normally do a lacquer finish outdoors because of the smell. Right now is not the perfect time to put a lacquer finish on a cabinet because of the cold weather.

Really odorless, no. But most of the odor is from the solvents, not so much the solids. Open a can of water-borne polyurethane and smell. It's about as benign as you could hope for, but not truly odorless.
