Hi Galloway, I know that this isn't what you are asking but A&M Wood Speciality in Cambridge ON ships wood and will take your cut list by e-mail. Their web site is http://www.forloversofwood.com
I use A and M for exotic woods, but they're a bit pricey for things like maple. It's cheaper locally (I'm in London). I've never used them, but Goodreau Sawmill in Tilbury advertises in the Yellow Pages.

A&M in Cambridge, Ontario is a great spot.....sort of a candy store for wood lovers. I'm from Ann Arbor, Michigan. I get most of my wood from Armstrong Millworks in Highland, Michigan. They have an excellent selection, reasonable prices, and are good folks to deal with. Armstrong's is less than a half hour from you (if things aren't too crazy at the bridge). I have a summer home in Canada and regularly bring small quantities of lumber into Canada. I don't know how customs oficials would feel about larger quantities.

galloway.
The places that are the most reasonable about selling wood aren't advertized.. they are sawmills that do work for steady customers like pallet mills and railroad tie companies..
Find them by checking the phone directory for pallets. Ask who sells them their wood..
A lot of them will claim they saw their own lumber but if there aren't a lot of logs in their yard they have a supplier someplace..
Hey Richard,
I get most of my wood from Oliver Lumber in Toronto. There a wholesaler for all of Ontario, their prices are way better than A&M and the delivery charge is only $35.00. Check them out.
