Hi,
I’d like to know if there is a way to seal off mdf for an exterior use ? Also, I,ve been working on some shop made jigs with baltic birch plywood and other types of plywood, but I never seem to be able to keep a perfect flatness in time. Is there a minimal movement in the panel that is acceptable for building jigs ? How can i keep my panels flat ?
Thanks

Tango, there is an exterior MDF product it is called Extira, Not sure if the spelling is correct. I left a 1/3 of a sheet outside for quite some time to see how it would hold up , and it did just fine.

hi tango 1 ,
Depending on what you want to do with it , there are other exterior products MDO being one , it is sign board , a paper covered exterior glued Fir core covered on one or both sides with the paper .
Also a product called Medex if available and good old wafer board or OSB.
