   The first issue is labeled "Winter, 1975" on the cover. According to the masthead, it would be the December issue, meaning that it first hit the newsstands around October or November.

   No breaks. They switched from quarterly to bimonthly in the fall of 1978, and it's been that way ever since (although they now have special issues in addition to the six "regular" issues per year).

   Well, there was one break, when it went from a great publication to what it is now.... That happened about the same time it went to the smaller format.
