If you post a topic and someone makes a reply, how do you know? Do you get a message in your email account, is it in your “my inbox” or do you just search for a reply? Where would I find a reply to these questions? confused in Knots but happy in SWC later

Did what you said. Simple enough. Not one word. Looking around the site... it doesn't seem very active these days?? Not much woodworking talk.
Oh well back to SMC.
The e-mail notifications seem to be sporadic with different people. Some, like me, get them all, others only occasionally or not at all. The actual source of the problem is unclear, since some of the folks not getting notifications do not appear to be tech-savvy, while others are.

'MY INBOX' here at the forum is where you will find "Private Messages" that people send you, not to be confused with the email notifications that you would (hopefully) get in your regular email on your computer.
