I would like to start this message with how I feel about your company BUT that would mean that you would not read the rest of this email.
Instead, I will tell you my sad little story and you can ignore it as you do with every customer concern.
I have subscriptions to two Magazine that are/were business related Fine Homebuilding and Fine Woodworking from Taunton Press in Massachusetts, USA. Several weeks ago, I opened my iPad pro and both apps were gone and replaced by the piece of drek apps from your company instead of the original apps from TAUNTON PRESS. IN THE PRORESS OF UPDATING MY apps your app deleted all my issues of both magazines and when I contacted your USA office for customer service via email because your company is too cheap to have real customer service I got the run around from your staff. They put the responsibility for correcting your apps SNAFU on me Why does all the work fall on me? Why should I have to contact TAUNTON PRESS to find out the dates of my subscription as your company crappy apps deleted my digital copies. Your apps screwed the pooch not me.
At 76 years old why should I have to waste any of my time correct the “efup” that your apps made. My subscriptions ran as follows
Fine Woodworking – April 1, 1991 to next year: 34 years X 7issues per year = 238 – 2 issues = 236 issues to download
Fine Homebuilding – July 1, 1993 to June 1, 2024: 31years X 6 issues = 186 issues – 3 issues = 183 issues
This includes all the issues including the tools issues = 7 issues per year for Fine Woodworking but only 6 issues per year for Fine Homebuilding.
Since I am 76 years old with metastatic cancer as well as other comorbidities, I want to ask you why I have to do this? Why should I not be enjoying whatever time I have left on this earth making things in my workshop rather than redownloading 419 issues of these two magazines . And what is really irritating is that neither Zinio, Taunton Press nor AIM media cares as much as a flying squirrel chances for survival in a hurricane or about me or my situation.

James,
I'm sorry for the frustration this has caused.
I've forwarded your post to someone who can make sure your app is functioning as it should. That said, we can't undo what has been done and app updates and changes are inevitable. There was a week where the apps were not functioning properly and we can only apologize for that.
We can't redownload all of the issues for you and it's unlikely your app actually had that many downloaded. The iPad version only goes back to issue 227 in 2012, so at best there would be 89 issues of FW to download. Downloading an issue you want to look at should only take a few minutes.
Please email me if you have any other issues.
