Trees. I get all my logs from trees. They make the best logs.

Well, clearly YOU'RE not from around here...:)

Jam,
No man, I'm not. Not even close. But, if you stumble across some insanely figured western bigleaf maple, you can drop me a line - I'll be your best long distance customer.
Take care and good luck,
Lee
Jammer, I'm on Bainbridge Island, 9 miles west of Seattle. Plenty of downed trees available from wind storms, development, trees culled for the safety of nearby buildings.. If you ever get over here, I'll introduce you to a miller on the island who has stacks, and stacks, and stacks of trees just waiting to be milled, all from such sources.
Oh, now I need a ferry schedule!
WA State Ferry, Seattle to Bainbridge Island ;-)forestgirl -- you can take the girl out of the forest, but you can't take the forest out of the girl ;-)
Okay, going to dig your number out of the email for the BBQ.It'll probably be this weekend, or early next week. :)Looking forward to it!
Jammer, I wanna make sure I didn't mislead you somehow -- the stacks and stacks of logs are David's logs, wonderful to behold but as far as I know, not for sale. He does, however, sell milled lumber and big (BIG) slabs of this and that and t'other.
LMK when you want to come over and I'll make sure he's going to be around. We're going to the Bluegrass Festival at Battlepoint Park (on the island) on Saturday (you're welcome to join if you wish), so on that day, I could only take a "field trip" in the a.m.forestgirl -- you can take the girl out of the forest, but you can't take the forest out of the girl ;-)
