At my age I must have lost half my old brain....
I have a Leigh 24 inch and I still go back to the instructions, on occasions..... I get mixed up on the face and the back boards... Sometimes!

Mike,
While not exactly what you are looking for, the above link may be of help. It refers to some videos and further instructions and advice for the 4212
Mike,
As a follow-up to my prior posting, try Googling "porter cable 4212 video" or similar. When I did, there were various U tube videos that popped up. hope this helps.

Have you watched the videos on the Porter Cable site?

There have also been several discussions here in the past that might be helpful to you. A Google search limited to this domain should bring them up.
Are you using it mostly for through dovetails? Or, half-blind?
I have the same jig and believe it or not the directions work, GREAT. Whenever I get in a bind I Stop everything get the dirctiions out and go very slowly. Then when I get it figured out I wait until the next day to run my good stock.Works every time.
