Maybe someone with a high-speed connection could resize those. Metod: open the pics and then go up to “Image” and find a “resize” choice. Mess around with that (not knowing what program you use, I can’t be more specific.) Take a look at this thread also:

When I get gooder.. LOL.. I love it!
Metod, I don't yell at folks about large pic files, but I do try to help. See this post:

especially the part about "Been there, done that, got the hole in the wall to prove it."

Mark, I still get a giggle every time I read your sign-off. Am thinking I could have some oversized bumper stickers made and we (those who want) could put them up in our shops! OK with you?forestgirl -- you can take the girl out of the forest, but you can't take the forest out of the girl ;-)Another proud member of the "I Rocked With ToolDoc Club" .... :>)

I would suggest you try the Picasa2 software. It's supported by google and you can't beat the price FREE!

Forest NEVER yells.. Just gives ya' that 'woman look'...
Why does a new thread about smaller files pop up as soon as I post a thread with a 1 mb file. Yet MR. Metod posts some that are 3 times larger than mine and everthing is cool? Has BArnold not seen this post, or what? Tell me what the problem is? MY ranting has just begun........
Derek, I think you simply got caught up in someone's bad day. My recollection is that the YELLING was started by someone else and Bill kinda jumped on the bandwagon. Please let that one rest -- it happened many days ago, right? I tried to smooth things over, maybe to no avail, but I'm hoping it won't happen again.forestgirl -- you can take the girl out of the forest, but you can't take the forest out of the girl ;-)Another proud member of the "I Rocked With ToolDoc Club" .... :>)
Metod, what are you using for an image editing programme?
Irfanview has been mentioned here, several folks like it. I've got Photoshop, so I really don't use Irfanview -- Photoshop allows me to make more correction, and I've got it, so why not use it, eh?
If I can be of help, let me know, although I'd be the last one to claim any kind of computer geek-hood.
Regards,
You might download Irfanview, it will re-size photos but has somewhat limited correction capabilities.
http://www.irfanview.com
It's a free download, I believe the developer does ask for donations if you use his stuff and like it.
I haven't had any experience with Picassa 2, I just took a quick look at their website and didn't see any size functions listed on the quick look I took at it. Does seem to have a good bit of correction/manipulation capabilities.
You might want to consider using both, correcting/manipulating an image in Picassa 2, then loading it into Irfanview to size it.
Hope this was of some help,
