I recently applied some cherry veneer to some plywood panels and used them in some frame and panel ends for a chest. Yesterday I noticed a couple of very slight raised ridges in the veneer about 3/16″ wide and 1 1/2″ long. The veneer was glued down with Franklin Cold Press glue. Will this glue respond to heat to allow me to re-press the “bubbles”? The edges of the panels are no longer accesable. So, if heat won’t work, I’ll have to slit them to get more glue in. Any recommendations?
Thanks

Heat may work but getting glue under the veneer is a more definite repair -
Since there's no finish yet - after repair sanding will make the slit invisible -

I'm with you. I think that those small areas didn't get enough glue to begin with. Heat probably won't work. I'll slit them and shoot in some more glue.
Thanks
