Is it only me, or are any of you having trouble with the “unread Messages” feature not working correctly?
I’m getting long lists of messages that I know I have already read each time I choose this option. The majority are in brown text (indicating they have been read) but the still have the # new of # notation beneath them.
I still get the ‘real’ unread messages in blue.

Yes, and messages show up as "new" even though I have seen them. It isn't consistent though.
Me too.

I had the same thing, Rennie. Go to the left hand frame where all the folders are and, at the bottom you'll find, 'Mark Discussions As Read'. Click on it, and that will probably solve the problem. It worked for me anyway. Slainte.

Tried this several times as it is my normal procedure (gasp! I don't read EVERY post)
Will keep clicking to see what happens.
Didn't someone define lunacy in this way - constantly doing the same thing and always expecting different results?

Perhaps I am crazy - I fooled around some more, looking at specific categories, navigated differently than I normally do, then came back and clicked "Mark all...." one more time.......It worked!
Now, was this a product of our combined ingenuity, a total accident, or a coincidence (someone at the "official web watchers office" was monitoring the posts and fixed when we weren't looking?

Yep, me too, sent a note to Mark 2 days ago but still buggy as heck. Really irritating.

Me too. I even went thru my subscription list and deleted several threads. A couple of days later, they were back marked as "notified but not read".
Ain't 'puters grand - lol.
We've been COMPLAINING about it on Cook's Talk. It's the site.
I'm about to start COMPLAINING too :-( It's messy, messy, messy!forestgirl -- you can take the girl out of the forest, but you can't take the forest out of the girl ;-)
