DOn't worry about it. It's all taken care of. Actually my wife has been going crazy on my new lathe. She has never really done anything like this before and she is awesome. It is her first time using a lathe and she already turnend a captive ring. Now image what she'll so when the tools are sharp.

Derek,
So wifey showed you up, eh? My wife did that to me on a rock climb. I kept popping off this one hard section, so my wife, a newbie at the time, decide to give it a shot. My jaw dropped as she breezed up the crux. I had to give her instructions on how to set up the anchor so she could belay my sorry butt up the climb.
It's probably a good thing I can't get her interested in turning. Great to hear that your wife is into it.
