anyone have any suggestions for turning 7 drawer pulls so that they closely resemble one another. I don’t have a duplicator. Thanks, Dan

Make yourself a layout board or mark on tape on the tool rest .the positions of the key diameters .Set up a few sets of calipers to those sizes and start turning.Practice on scrap by the time you have done a few they will look the same.Read up on turning(Conover etc). You will find that it is really straightforward. There are serious limitations to duplicators. Most short runs of less than 20 balusters can be turned easily by hand.Be warned though turning is addictive!
Hey dan, Another way to turn pulls ,is to make them more like a handle rather than a knob .Slice them in half bevel or hollow one side for a finger well . Learning to turn multiples comes with more turning . With a sample in hand and a outside caliper, sharp lathe tools you will amaze yourself after a while.
good luck dusty
