Turn your switch off- before you plug –
-in your router, or any tool for that matter. I am usually the safest person to work around but I was slacking today. I made to safety mistakes. First I plugged a tool in before I checked to see if the switch was off, second I was worried about the router rather then my body and caught the damn thing when it was falling off the bench! What was I thinking! My co-workers saw it and couldn’t belive what I HAD DONE!!!… Careful out there!!- Pricey

geez, I've never done anything that dumb :)!!
kinda wakes you up doesn't it?
Hey! don't feel like your the only one that has accidents, I was using a trim router a couple years ago and went to switch hand , because of the direction of the cut I had to make, I stuck my 4th finger on the left hand right into the bit with the roughter running. Took a 1/4 ' of the end . Been a woodworker since 7th grade and now 48, still have all my fingers, But think about the cut I'm making and the potential danger first before I start any machine.
Be careful everyone, It's hard to work without hands that don't work porperly.Profesional Furniture builder.
