Looking for recommendations/advise on any brand of transfer tape.
For use in applications like positioning drawer fronts and so on. Right now using carpet tape from big box stores and am wondering if there is anything better out there. Minor point: I always find it a pain in the
to remove the backing to expose the second side.
Thanks,

One trick for removing the backing paper is to use a piece of Scotch tape to start lifting it, a corner works best. If that doesn't work, use the sharp point of a utility knife or similar.
Beat it to fit / Paint it to match
When I worked in the printing industry, we used double stick tape to mount cuts to wood blocks. To remove the backing, make a diagonal cut accross the tape and pick up the wedge shaped corners with the point of a knife.
