Just wondering if any of the Knots regulars were hit by last week’s tornadoes and if they are ok. If they were, they probably can’t communicate so I’m looking for word of mouth I guess. Thinking I should go down there when things settle down a bit and help.

So sad
The stories of tornado devastation are always sad. The same holds true with hurricanes.
I'm sure those who are able to help would be appreciated.
After I posted the above I read a piece about holding off for a while till things get organized and then registering with those in charge when you do get there. The influx of helpers and lookers is causing some problems with workers who are just trying to make things safe from power lines and such. One quote in the piece was "If you don't know how to use a chain saw, this is not the time or place to learn how."
How true
Good intentions seldom trump good planning.
Then, there's the potential for creating a new disaster personna - black hat, black shirt, black pants. Business card: Stihladin, have chainsaw, will travel. ;-)
