Does anyone have feedback on the Scheppach sharpening system vs. the Tormek? Is the Tormek worth the extra money?
thanks

I have the Tormek and can't fault it.
Not seen the Scheppach sharpener.
Oh,lashed out on the top model of Tormek, painful at the time.
Craig,
I have the Tormek and love it. I use it to sharpen chisels and hand plane blades.
It was difficult shelling out the money for it, but it will last a lifetime.

I have the jig for sharpeming jointer blades, not bad but have to get then done outside after about 4 sharpens,as they tend to get a bit round.
I did a search for Scheppach and unless I am not looking at the site correctly, this "system" is filled with persons/companies that do sharpening as a business.

Love my Tormek. I can now get a really sharp edge. Really sharp. Sharp enough to cut. Almost dangerously sharp. Yeah!!!
I also have Tormek. Couldn't be happier.

Tormek is a very good system.
I've never heard of the Scheppach -- do you have a website for it?
its through hartville tool
Had a look at the Scheppach, looks like a copy of Tormek.
I have a Scheppach TKU saw bench and it is the best,so I am sure the sharpener would be good,so six of one and half a dozen of the other.
