To paraphrase, there are two kinds of woodworkers in this world. Those who have bits in their routers, and those who plane the edge profile by hand. ;-)
I agree and..

Mary Travers died this last week. Man what a time ( 60s ) that was.rocGive me six hours to chop down a tree and I will spend the first four sharpening the axe. Abraham Lincoln ( 54° shaves )
WillG,
Now, Dr Lataxe is going to give you a prescription to stop or at least reduce these episodes of media-blight. You must obtain a bicycle and ride it vigorously about the countryside for many miles each day. This will take your mind off Hollywood and bad pop songs as you will become obsessed with shiney bike gubbins, lycra clothing and dropping other cyclists from your back wheel.
Why do you need to have less of those Youtube thangs impinging your wetware? Well, addiction to filums from never-never land will soon have your non-animalistic brain-replicators (memes) overheated. One may become confused concerning history (especially about wars and the associated events) morality (it is not baddies & goodies) or music (howling ditties concerning lurv-gone-bayud whilst beating primitive rhythms or twanging two chords doesn't count).
Alternatively you could watch French or Swedish filums. These are incomprehensible and depressing by turn so will soon have you seeking alternative pleasures, such as thrusting at the pedals or even chasing wimmin!
You know it makes sense.
Lataxe, your trick-cyclist
This will take your mind off Hollywood? These days I just watch TMC

And I watch IFC and Sundance?

I remember old things! I forget the new memoies?
As ...I watch Monty Python as often as possible!
And last night I watched Ladies in Lavender... I CRIED FOR HER!

Thanks Ralph I was a bit lost there,
Some work with their hands and some expect to do it with a noisy contraption.
And of course some are better with their hands than others.

It's all in the details. Listen for the sound of the silent flute.
But still . . . keep in mind . . . " It is hard to kill a horse with a flute "

Thank YOU! I just loved it.. I never saw it before.. really loved it!
Thanks.Bruce Lee wrote the screen play but died before he could star in the movie. This is the sort of film Bruce Lee wanted to make but got stuck in the ' whack two boards together for sound effects ' sorts of films. Those are fun to !David Carradine got the part. He played several of the characters. Old blind master with the flute/walking staff , the leopard nightmare, the monkey king, the king of pleasures in the desert etc.One of my favorite movies. The original title was "The Silent Flute" but hollywood in their infinite need to hype and make bucks changed it to "Circle of Iron".http://www.amazon.com/Circle-2-Disc-Special-David-Carradine/dp/B000NO2434/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=dvd&qid=1253474592&sr=1-1I was looking for one of the flute fight scenes but not on YouTube. The guy with the long staff/flute is blind. He is always getting jumped by gangs of thugs. This happens so often that fighting them with his flute is like a stroll through the grocery store for him. Kind of humorous in a bloody, drippy sort of way.Just remember:A horse has no udders, a cow can't winny, up is down and sideways is straight ahead.rocGive me six hours to chop down a tree and I will spend the first four sharpening the axe.
