After a week with Netscape 7.1 on my computer I cannot access the login screen. Deleted all of the cookies for taunton.com and prospero.com and I got to it, but next time same problem again. At initial Knots screen, click on Login and it keeps coming back to the initial knots screen. If I click logout it says I am logged in as “”. Can’t find link anywhere to technical support for the forum to try to resolve this. Anyone have any suggestions for reaching support? Thanks for overlooking a non-woodworking question. Don

I haven't a clue with computers, but you should probably give Bill Duckworth at Taunton a note in the morning when he comes in. He is the over-seer of Knots and part of computer control there.

That is definitely a design error, and a very annoying one. E-mail [email protected]
They probably haven't committed any funding to tech support.

I think I read somewhere there are lots of Netscape gliches with the prospero software. I use IE to link here and NS to link elsewhere but I definitely need them both for just such problems.

I've had a similar problem with Explorer. The fix was in the Browser's security settings. Don't remember the exact details but it self corected when I selected a lower level of browser security.

your preferences. Just follow these directions:
- Open a new browser window
- Click on Tools in the main menu bar
- Select Internet Options from the drop-down menu
- Click on the Privacy tab
- Click on the Advanced tab inside the window
- Make sure that you have "Accept" selected under both First-party Cookies
and Third-party Cookies
