Hi,
I have once seen in a magazine, I don’t even remember if it was FWW or another one, a special tiny paint roller. The author of the article used it to paint a frame line on a table top parallel to the edge. The roller had a small paint container on top and a catch on the side to adjust the distance between the frame and the edge of the piece. Does anyone know where I can get such tool and how it is called?
Thanks
Gal

I can't give you a source but the tool you are talking about is primarily used for pinstriping, try checking with auto or sign makers suppliers.

I am almost positive I saw the device I think you're talking about in a catalog for WOODWORKER'S SUPPLY -- at least I think that's the name. They have a store in New Mexico, but do mail order out of Casper. WY.
If you don't know this outfit, and no one else comes up with it, post back here. I know I have some old catalogs stashed away, and I will dig one out.
EDIT: This is the same outfit that produces the Woodtek line of machinery.

Found it!
Thanks!
It is realy in Woodworker's Supply at http://www.woodworker.com manufactured by Marshalltown and called Dual line Stripper. At last , after hours of internet surfing and shop trips :-)
That's great .........
I checked the link you provided, and did a search on "dual line stripper", but came up with nothing. So I browsed their "finishing supplies" category and found it.
And this is the device I remember seeing in the catalog.
For any other interested parties, the catalog # is 849-139 -- which will lead you to the right page when entered in the search box.
What are you going to use this thing for?
I would like to use tis tool to paint straight lines on the edges of small boxes, till now I used the adhesive tape as border painting with a small artist's brush (and acrylic paint), I painted the lines on all edges, this means 24 lines per box so this method became really time consuming, and then I remembered about seeing this device somewhere, and now I'm really glad to have found it!
If you buy it and use it, please come back to this thread and tell us if it worked ok.
ok, but it will take some time.
I plan on living a long life ...............
