Bob, what a beautiful and unusual box! Thanks for posting it.
I am fascinated by spalted maple, and have some large logs (18-24") I'm "ripening" as we speak. Question or two: How thin are the cross-sections? What approach did you take to control warpage in these cross-sections? Any other tips??

That is really a beautiful box. I like working with Spalted Maple and in fact most Maple. Thanks for sharing.
