I am building a two piece cabinet for my wife that will used in the master bath. The bottom unit has six drawers, while the top unit will have two sliding doors approximately 37″ H x 17″ wide. I’d like to use a nice amber, antique looking glass for the top cabinet doors, but am not sure where to look. Anyone have any good sources? Thanks in advance for your assistance.

Hobby Lobby used to carry stained glass. Don't know if they still do.
Somewhere around here I have about 50 lbs of stain glass that came out of an old church in central Texas. paid $20 for it I believe. Fun stuff to work with. Not for sale, though.

There are several mail order suppliers on the web, ie. http://www.delphiglass.com/index.cfm?page=knowledgebase
Problem with these is you can't be exactly sure of what color and texture you're getting from the images. If you're in the Atlanta area there's a large supplier I can direct you to.
where are you?,
here in sarnia ontario canada, we have a wonderful store that stocks all kinds of stained glass
dont know about shipping and stuff though
caulking is not a piece of trim
Terry,
I do some stained glass work. I use Delphi for alot of my glass purchases. They have an excellent catalog and phone reps who can help you in selecting glass. 1-800-248-2048. The catalog gives a good general description along with a picture of each variety by manufacturer, it will give you a good start.
The alternative is to check your area for a stained glass studio. The studios in my area all supplement their business by retailing glass and supplies.
The size of the pieces you need may make it necessary to buy a large sheet through a studio and have them cut it, unless you feel comfortable handling and cutting such large pieces of glass.
Hope this helps,
Greg
Thanks for the information Greg. I live in Florida and checked with Delphi Glass, but they don't carry the size that I need (12" x 32"), so I think I'll have to try your approach of finding a shop that can cut from a full sheet.
Thanks.
Terry
