I’m looking for a source for Koa in or near Maryland. I’m near Annapolis, but will travel to find a nice piece. My favorite lumber yard, Exotic lumber has limited selection, so I’m looking for an alternate. I don’t need a big piece; 4/4 X 4″ X 4ft would do the trick.

Not in MD but try Groff and Groff or Hearne Hardwoods, both in SE PA, not too long a drive from Annapolis. I have seen koa at one of them, but can't recall which one now.

Hearne usually keeps Koa in stock. Last time I was there (about 5 years ago) it was $125 bd/ft. Hope you need it bad!
