I took the plunge and just purchased a nice Powermatic 66 table saw.
It needs a bit of TLC but it rally nice looking and it runs great.
I am looking for a source for a replacement Dust clean out door.
I am also looking to replace the Baldor 5 HP 3phase with a 3/5 single phase.
Can someone suggest a good source for the door or replacment motor?
I have a good running 5HP Baldor 3p as a partial trade for the motor.
Thanks for any help

Call Powermatic for replacement parts or ask them for a list of dealers. Prices are typically the same if you buy direct or from a dealer.
Three phase motors have zero trade in value for the most part, at least from a dealer.
Try http://www.surpluscenter.com for cheap motors or call an electric motor dealer in your local yellow pages for motors. 3 hp is more than enough power to cut through anything you need all day and will save money. Plus you will need new heaters in motor switch for single phase. Local motor shop will accomodate this as well plus offer tech help. Do you have the old fashioned fence or a newer Biesemeyer style replacement?

If you don't mind working in MDF and with a couple/few well placed rare earth magnets you can make your own. That's what I did (see link below) for myUnisaw.

The only tough part would be finding the "proper" knob.
Try Googling Plaza Machinery for a motor.
