I am going to build a Sheraton style bed (king sized) with either two or four turned bed posts. My client wants the bed constructed from walnut, which is fine, except that none of the companies that I can find on-line provide walnut components. I am a relatively inexperienced turner and would prefer to buy this component. Do any of you know of a good source for Sheraton style bed posts, about 75″ +/- long?
Any leads would be most appreciated.
Best regards, Tom.

Tom,
If all else fails, you could try contacting the local woodturner's guild if there is such a thing. You might save money on shipping too.

Matthew Burak --- http://www.tablelegs.com -- stocks Sheraton bedposts in cherry. They make other legs in walnut. They can probably turn you the Sheraton in walnut.
Osborne -- http://www.osbornewood.com -- and Adams --- http://www.adamswoodproducts -- are other possible source.
Hi, Jamie,Thanks for taking the time to answer. I looked at these web sites and like the option of calling them for a custom job.Tom.
