Source for 3/8″ Twist (Link) Belt??
Found out yesterday that In-Line Inudstries does NOT have 3/8″ PowerTwist Link Belts, and have not had for some time (despite their web site listing it). Anyone have another source where I don’t have to buy more than 4′?? I only need 2′, but willing to buy more just to get it. Thanks!

Jeez, I hope I'm typing this in the right place. You might try ebay, Jamie. Here's one that I just googled: http://cgi.ebay.com/Fenner-Power-Twist-Plus-3L-Link-V-Belt-3-8-New-4_W0QQitemZ150395628794QQcmdZViewItemQQptZLH_DefaultDo

Thanks, David. I haven't
Thanks, David. I haven't figured out what the 3L, 4L/A, 5L/B, etc., mean. Fenner's no help. But that sure looks like the right belt.
Hmmmm, don't know if I can get PayPal to work, it's hooked up to an old commercial bank account. Will have to check it out. BTW, my chuck came in from Packard's, so I'll get your's back to you soon. Thanks!

FG,
Most of us don't but it is important to have the right belt(s) on your machines. I finally gave up on my jointer and pulled one pulley and took it in. It turned out to be a 3V. I am going to pull my bandsaw pulleys nest. I threw some 1/2" power twist on them 6 years ago but don't know if they are the best fit to the pulleys. We talked a bit about those 3 little belts that run on unisaws forever. Part of that longevity comes from the belts being properly sized to the sheaves. The entire cross section of the groove determines the belt profile, not just the width at the top.

3L=3/8" top width
4L=4/8" top width
5L=5/8" top width
