Are you referring to the show in Costa Mesa? Is it geared towards professionals, and is there a website with more information?

Well yes and No. They have the reps from different tools companies, usually PC, Dewalt, Bosch, Jet and Delta demo-ing there new stuff also some tool store. They have some demos ect both free and pay seminars. I like it can get some good deals. Ive never got a great deal but a good one. usually they will sell a tool and throw something extra in. There is also alot of stuff for the hobbiest also. I think it runs the gammit(sp) a little for everyone. I enjoy it. There site is www. The Wood Working Shows .com

Ok I now truely understand your question(blush) I didnt know that the woodworking shows have seperated the shows into a consumer and pro circuit. I just found out last night night. Yes the Costa mesa show is classified as a "Pro" show....

Oh, well, if it's a pro show, then it'll be 'way over my head (and checkbook). Is there a hobbyist-oriented show that comes to Orange County?
The show in Costa Mesa is not for "PRO's". The woodworking shows
put on a great display everything from sandpapers to lathes and then some. It is geared to educate all woodworkers and get them close to
the new products that they might not be able to find at thier local
woodworking store. If you have the time I would suggest you attend.
You will come away amazed and more knowledgeable with the classes.

No, the Costa Mesa show isn't a "Pro" show. Here's the web address for The Woodworking Shows calendar. Click on the one you're interested in, and it'll take you to detailed info. There's also a link below for a $2-off coupon from the DeWalt site that's good on the show pass.

forestgirl -- you can take the girl out of the forest, but you can't take the forest out of the girl ;-)
While the Woodworking Show is for people of all levels, there is something called the Pro Series Panel being held Thursday afternoon and Sunday morning. I'm going to check out the Thursday one because it's free if you register in advance and they throw in a free admission for the show to boot (I'm still waiting for the catch--like a time-share hard sell). But that's if I can make it from Burbank to Costa Mesa during afternoon traffic on the 5 freeway.
