WGBH has announced new woodworking show
Recently found out that WGBH has plans for a new woodworking show and the host will be Thomas MacDonald over at the MLWwoodwork.co. He is the woodworker who completed the step stool in one of the FWW issues and also podcasted builing a bombe online. Congrat to Tommy for landing a show with WGBH.

Yes, congrats to Mr. MacDonald. I hope it's successful.
I heard that New Yankee could not get sponsors. Kind of sad. I like Norms's show.
Do you think this will be a replacement with national brodacast, assuming my local PBS picks it up.
What would we do without PBS? 24/7 reality show!
Although possible, a lack of sponsors seems unlikely to me. NYW was probably responsible for more saw and router sales than any other direct marketing effort.
T-nut definitely has a clue.. I don't keep up with TV but when this thing gets ready to air I would appreciate someone that does post the fact on the forum...
To answer Don's question.... Matt Kenney made a blog post about the new show here: https://www.finewoodworking.com/item/25050/tommy-macdonald-gets-a-woodworking-show Watch a YouTube preview. -g
