I am looking to buy a small band saw with which to make models as part of my furniture design process. There are a number of 9′ band saws on the market and I’d like to know which one(s) you can recommend.
Thanks.

The only small saw that I have experience with is the Delta machine and it worked well for light cutting. FWW never did a tool test on the small saws so I don't have any experience with the other machines made. I believe that Ryobi makes a small saw and I have found that their benchtop machines are well made and reasonably priced but I have never worked with their.

Many thanks.
