I recently took delivery of a Minimax CU300 Smart machine but have yet to remove the plastic covering the machine in the shipping crate. The problem is that I’m in the middle of some home remodeling and that takes priority, meaning I walk past this huge crate in my driveway (yeah, it’s not even in my shop yet) at least a few dozens times a day…
This thing has been in my driveway for 2 weeks and it’s not likely that I’ll even be able to move it inside for at least another week. It’s definitely torture.

Er, you forgot to supply your address so that this torture can be removed from your driveway.
Yeah, good point......... I could lend a hand.Best,John
Woodman, I have that same saw, and love it. In the past I've owned the Felder saw shaper and liked it very much also. The MM is perfect for the work I do. Customer Service is excellent with both companies. The only thing about the MM Smart that I don't like, and this would be true for all combos, is that since the morticing bit spins off the end of the jointer cutterhead, you have to use left handed bits, which are not as easy to find and there isn't as wide a selection of diameters. If the direction of rotation could be reversed, this wouldn't be a problem. I will eventually mount my morticing machine on an independent stand and power it with a router. Other than that, I actually like the sliding table on the MM better than the Felder. I wonder when an American company will start making a table saw with a sliding table. I know Grizzily does, that's a start. You'll be happy with your choice. Bill
If you live where there is NO rain.. Carry on Carry on!
I for one may find your address and hawl if off in my 450 4X4!
Fantastic machine but I don't think it would last to long under your current storage conditions where I live.
I want two!
Wire it and Run It!
Wood is waiting to be made pretty.

yeah, no rain for at least another month or two. Also, it is under a good plastic cover and still has grease on all of the machined surfaces. Good news is that my plumber is coming back on thurs for final fit out, which means that after a little paint and trim work I'll be in the clear and will be able to move it in my shop.
I have a Mini Max Lab 300 that I have been using in Israel now for over 5 years. It has done me well. I think it is a smaller and perhaps less proffessional machine than yours. The fences for the table saw and jointer are not that great, they flex too much and the jointer fence only has 2 angles (90 deg. and 45 deg.). Recently the handle that locks up the saw blade angle adjustment seized up and broke away from the part inside the cabinet. I have been waiting almost 3 months for a replacement and the local distributor says that he ordered it but it hasn't yet appeared, and when I phone him, he doesn't sound too interested. I emailed Italy and they didn't answer me, and I emailed the US offering a Canadian or American address where they could send the part but they didn't answer me either. I hope you have better luck than I am having when you need a replacement part.
I have jury-rigged the adjustment lock with a bolt and nut but it is inconvenient having to use a wrench. Not just any handle will do.
I had to get this off my chest cause I am getting not just a little annoyed!
