Sled for Miter Cuts (and cross cuts?)
Can anyone direct me to the best sliding sled that’s available? I’ve got a Jet contractors table saw and would like to aquire a sled for making the most accurate miter cuts (for picture frames) and if possible, for making some accurate cross cuts. I’ve got the Incra 2000 but would rather use a sled.
I would appreciate any feed back that comes my way.

why not make your own?
then add a 30-60-90 triangle block to cut your angles, or a 45-45-90 block...

Check-out the JoinTech "smart miter" sled. I have one and it work great!

When I had a contractor saw it had a sheet steel top, no mitre slots. However I bolted Blum drawer slides to the table sides and so was able to make a sled as big as the table, it worked great. One plus was it would not come off unless I released the catches, and the jig arms for mitres held on to the plywood base by dowels were long and accurate, as was the main fence, pivoting at one end and bolted in a slot at the other. Home made feels really safe and finger joints are a doddle.
