I just prices a 3/4 spindle 1″ cove shaper cutter locally and they want nearly $300!
What is a good source for good cutters at a fair price?

Michael,
Is the UP107 on this page what you are after?:

If so, you might want to try this list of sources:

Charles,
I have a small Jet shaper with a 1/2 spindle and don't have the 3/4 spindle.
Since this seems to be a large cutter, would it be safe on the 3/4 spindle? I could always order it from Jet, I just bought the machine used and never had call for the bigger spindle.
Thanks
Michael
Michael,
We do not recommend using 1-1/4" bore cutters on 1/2" spindles but you can definitely use them on the 3/4" spindle.Charles M
