Some time back I saw a post about a shop made table or bench made up for cutting sheet goods with a circular saw. I think it was fastened together with millers dowels so no screws or nails to cut into. I’m searching all over (here, breaktime,JLC)for some pics of this thing. Can anyone help me out? Thanks.

Thanks Ralph but thats not it. This thing looks more like a wood palette that you lay on horses.
I could see where an elongated pallet-like support would work well, supporting both sides of the cut.I just open the garage door and use an edge guide with my four horses of the s-saw-calypse. ;-)

At least that is similar to what you described.
In the original article he just screws or nails it together ( been so long I don't remember which ). I needed practice making mortise and tenon joints so I got crazy with mine and so did not need nails/screws.
Works great if you aren't cutting sheet goods all day to make a living but just hobby stuff.
