Is there any way to search a specific forum on Knots for what one is searching? For example, I was hoping to find someone selling a power feeder, and couldn’t find any way to do a search for “power feeder” within the “for sale” forum. Also have a few items I’m no longer using, would be nice to be able to search the “wanted to buy” forum to see if anybody is looking for what I’ve got.

searching, searching . . .
"Is there any way to search a specific forum on Knots for what one is searching?"
I don't believe there is a convenient way of doing so within the search interface here. The search function is essentially just a generic (i.e. non-advanced) Google search, limited to the FWW site.
You might try adding key-word limitations like "+classified/sale" to what you type in.
Additional info can be found by doing an external Google search on "Google search parameters" if you're inclined to become a "search techno-weenie". ;-)
This forum is barely holding together, very little participation. There might be two or three items listed for sale in a month, much less on wanted to buy. If you want to buy a power feeder, then post your want, maybe you'll get a response, same if you want to sell something, list it for sale. When you visit this site, most of the topic areas in the left menu are dead as far as activity. If you just click on the top menu, recent topics, you will see all the latest posts and replies to all forum areas, such as they are. This is not one of the more active sites for buying or selling, if you would find a power feeder for sale, it would likely be from years ago and the seller would have listed it in other venues besides here.
