I have been trying to do a search on messages from me and messages containing words (products) that I know have been discussed here. I keep getting 0 found. Anyone know why that is not working since we came to the new forum? I assume that all messages from the old forum are now here. I see messages from 2002 and such, so the problem must be in the search engine or it is working differently and I don’t quite get it yet.

I have had the same problem and written to matt twice about it but haven't received a response. (He is probably busy trying to help people who haven't even been able to access the new site yet.)
We are in the process of reindexing Knots so that the search will actually return some results. This takes some time and will hopefully be complete by the end of today. In the meantime you should start seeing better and better results.
I suspect the database work is still in progress. It boggles the mind how much work must be involved in that! May I suggest, if you need to find a particular "old" thread, that you jog over to the Old Knots and do the search there? I think that would work. Not convenient, for sure, but would probably work.
