I just purchased my first scroll saw – a Dremel 18” scroll station.

After setting the table 90 degrees to the blade, I notice that I can rock the table with little effort. It doesn’t rock much but it’s noticeable.

This leads me to believe the machine is defective and I should return the item but having no experience with these machines, I thought I’d ask first if this is unusual for scroll saw tables?

Thanks,

There should be no movement in the table. Find the reason and either fix it or return the saw.
