My Bosch 4410 has developed an alignment problem whereby the trailing edge of the blade is no longer aligned with the rails, causing the teeth on the trailing edge to start cutting a little more wood as they pass through the kerf.
It looks like the head is attached to the rails by a set screw on each side. Is that where the adjustment would be made?

No, that is not the adjustment point. The adjustment proceedure for that issue is on page 16 of the owners manual and is very straightforward. The manual is a hair too large for me to attach here or to send you through the Knots email interface. Click on my name and send me your email adress and I will send it directly to you.
Many thanks for including the model number in your post. A refreshing change!!

I have the manual, but there is nothing in there about how to align the blade with the rails. My problem is not blade-to-fence, it is like a car with bent frame where the back wheels no longer are aligned with the center line of the car.

FYI I called Bosch this morning and got a senior tech who verified that the setscrews on the "knuckle" that mounts the head to the rails can be loosened (one at a time, he emphasized) and the head tapped with a hammer to re-align it with the rails. He said that they don't put that in the manual because the saws are trued up at the factory and normally don't need such adjusting. Once the blade tracks properly so that trailing-edge teeth follow in the kerf without cutting either side, I'll have to re-check square-to-fence again.BruceT
