Hope this doesn’t get discarded. I’m a hobbyist and have no affiliation with any tool companies.
I’ve built a prototype & in the process of patenting add on mechanisms to convert shop built cabinet style router table tops to fully rotational tops tilting from 0-180 degrees . Obviously, you can’t use it that way but I believe being able to go beyond the normal 90 deg allows use of router bit profiles nearer the base without having to use the tip sections. The process actually created a more useful horizontal table. I can’t go into full details right now but I created a list of 30 features and enhancements over a normal top.
Do you think such a top would be useful? Yes – No – Why?
Would you pay up to $250 for the kit? Yes – No – Why?

Trimjim,
I do not mind to spend money on the tools and jigs that I cannot make (too dumb or lack of industrial equipment).
Part of the fun for me (hobbyist) is to invent the solutions that I encounter when working on my projects.
If your design would solve any of my problems (that I cannot on my own) then, yes, I would be interested.
Best wishes,
Metod
Hi trimjim,
It's difficult to relate specifically because you didn't tell us what advantages exactly we might be getting. But the cost calculation for me is quite simple - if it can save me significantly more than $250 worth of time or router bits I would buy it. That's a lot of router bits. Would it save a day's work?
