I have jigs and fixtures for my plunge router for straight cuts or dado. I have a circle cutting jigs as well. How does one cut a sprial dado ?
Thanks for any suggestions.

spiral cut
With a spiral template and a guide bushing?
Can you be more specific about what you need to accomplish?
Make two templates that are, except for the bridges, identical. Offset the bridges that have to hold each circle (where the path of the router crosses over itself) from falling out. Rout the spiral with temmplate #1, jumping over the bridges, then line up template #2 and rout the leftover bridges out, or just chisel out the bridges, which might be easier. Good luck
Great advice. I agree on the identical templates

I'm not too sure if that was a serious question or not.
