I will be making kitchen cabinets with rail & stile doors, and have been looking at “Stacked Rail & Stile bits”. These bits have both cutters required on one shaft, so you only have to adjust the depth of cut to go from rail to stile. Does anyone have any negative experience with these? It would be nice to eliminate the need to change bits. I am considering buying the bit from MLCS in PA, I had a good experience with them with a custom bit.
Thanks, Rick

Rick,
FWIW, I use them exclusivly. I use CMT bits and am extremely happy with them.

*Hey DanoYa really like them huh? I never used them but ive been considering picking one up. Why would you choose a stack over a matched set? Whats the advantage. All I used have been matched sets
*Ron,Saves me time in set up and the "stacked" set by CMT is $10 less than their matched set.Dano
*Danoill have to try a set. they do look fairly simple to set up.
