I have been getting rough crosscuts on my Powermatic 66, as if the leading portion of the blade is scoring the end grain as it cuts. I replaced the blade and realigned the miter slots parallel to the blade by loosening the table bolts and tapping it into parallelism. The cut improved but it could be better. I was wondering what if anything else I can do to improve the cut? Is it possible that the table is not level (front to back or opposing corners) in relationship to the to the trunnions? None of the books, blogs or manuals have addressed this issue, so any info will help. Thanks!

Hi,
Try some blade stabilizers on the blade. These are basically big washers about 4" in diameter that help to keep the blade from vibrating in a cut. They helped my Powermatic. Good luck. Gary
