   I'm 99% sure that you have to buy a saw to get it at that price.  I was in the store looking at miter saws last week, and that's what I remember.

   Not so FG.

   As soon as I saw this being talked about on BT I went straight to the HD after work. The one your thinking about is the tablesaw w/ stand. They also have the Miter saw stand at $99.00 I picked one up. Wish I had the money at the time to p/u 2, but that's a different story. The guy at our HD said it was a promotion going on thru March, but others have posted differently.

   Anyway, if they don't have it at the one near you check on some others. It's a great stand even at full price.

   If I understand the offer, the miter stand is $99, and you get a $100 savings if you also buy a saw at the same time. I'm gonna have to figure out an excuse to drive back across the border.....

   Ron, I purchased one of these tables last week and you do not have to purchase the saw.  In my area all the HD are sold out of them but they do allow you to purchase one in advance and they will notify you when they come in.  I would recommend calling the store every day to "remind" them to put yours aside.  They tend to sell out so fast that it might be overlooked.

   I bought mine at full price a year or two ago and it's a real gem!

   The nearest HD to me is in Watertown, NY. This is about a 2 hour drive, not counting the time one spends with the lineup at Customs. I called the store yesterday and was told that they were sold out, and the next shipment might arrive in late April, and the price then was not known.

   I asked to pay for one now, and put my name on the list for a Rain Check. No dice! Bummer!!!
