Has anyone heard about any tests done on these nailers to see if they really stand up? I’m interested in the narrow crown stapler, or should I just buy a senco?

I would never want to be the first with any tool. They say all kinds of things about testing shows.... but who care what the tests show, real world use will be my guide. I would stay with the brands you know. The dewalt guns are fairly new and everything I've heard, is that the stink.
The DW trim guns are pretty good, but the framing nailer is a piece. I'll see if I can't talk my HD saleslady into letting me "borrow" one for testing.Jason Pharez Construction

I just bought the ridged 18 gage finish 2 1/8 nailer. got it to the job opened the box and it had the crown staple in it!! luckley I carry many guns to do the job. took it back and 6 boxes were packed wrong.. found the right one. used it today. nice gun. has a swivel air hook up and a belt hook that swivels from side to side. and a lifetime guarantee. swivel and the swivel belt hook are probably the only things that is better than the others.

K make sure you fill out the tear off card next to the Ridgid tools if you expect to get the lifetime guarantee---an old buddy of mine who works at HD said that is how they get you...if you don't fill out the form and send it in, you don't qualify for the lifetime service guarantee.Jason Pharez Construction
