Radial arm saw help. I had electrical relay fry on my older (25 years +/-) craftaman radial arm saw, Model no.113.199410. I contacted sears parts direct with model and part number and ordered. After part did not show up I called and was informed that part was no longer available. After much research I was able to find an online supplier of relays that does not carry exact model I require. The reason given was that he needs to buy a box of 50 of them and has no demand for them. This relay is 3CR-118-931. So at this point my perfectly fine saw is DOA for want of a $20 relay.
I suspect I may not be the first person to run into this situation and am hoping someone has an idea on where to purchase a replacement relay. Any help would be much appreciated.
Thanks

You may try places like: Grainger, Kirby-Risk, Siemens, or even some of the old style hardware stores. They will probably need the data from the relay rather than just the part number in order to cross reference and find a relay that will work for you.
Thanks for the resources.Golfisher
Try calling Digikey Corp (http://www.digikey.com) at 1-800-digikey and ask to speak to a tech. They will cross-reference the old number to an exact replacement for you.
Thanks much I will do that.Golfisher
