Radial arm saw help. I had electrical relay fry on my older (25 years +/-) craftaman radial arm saw, Model no.113.199410. I contacted sears parts direct with model and part number and ordered. After part did not show up I called and was informed that part was no longer available. After much research I was able to find an online supplier of relays that does not carry exact model I require. The reason given was that he needs to buy a box of 50 of them and has no demand for them. This relay is 3CR-118-931. So at this point my perfectly fine saw is DOA for want of a $20 relay.
I suspect I may not be the first person to run into this situation and am hoping someone has an idea on where to purchase a replacement relay. Any help would be much appreciated.
Thanks

The type of relay, a current sensing motor start relay, is commonly used on smaller machines like air conditioners and refrigerators. You don't need the identical part, a relay with the same electrical rating from any manufacturer will do the job. If you can find an electric motor or appliance repair shop with a savvy parts man, they should be able to come up with a suitable replacement.
