I would like to find a profile sander that I could chuck up in my drill press that would function like a quarter-round bit in a router. In other words, a quarter round profile sander. Does anyone know if, and where, such might be available?? If not, any suggestions for making one?

what about using a flap sanding wheel, or do you need a well defined radius?
need a well defined radius.

turning a plastic or rubber drum with the required radius would be easy, and then you could bore a hold in the center and use a bolt for a shank, but i've got no clue as to how you'd make a sandpaper sleeve for it. are these going to be the radiuses on your plane handles or is this something straight?
Andrew - Yeah, just trying to figure out a way to reduce sanding time.
