First Urea Resin and Urea Formaldehyde are the same thing. Just different names. Urea resin glues are either a one part powder mixed with water commonly known as "plastic resin" and a two part where the first part is a liquid resin and the second part is a hardener. They are "water resistant" like Titebond II meeing the Type II water resistant spec. DAP Weldwood Plastic Resin glue is an example of the first and Unibond 800 is an example of the second.
Resorcinol is a two part adhesive the meets the Type I waterproof spec for use in applications that will be totally submerged and stays effective in boiling water. It is primarily used in marine and outdoor applications but leaves a purple glue line. DAP Weldwood Resorcinol Glue is an example.
