Problem with New Bandsaw – Blade Waving Back and Forth
Hello all,
I recently got a new bandsaw–a Grizzly G0457–based on its great review in Fine Woodworking Magazine (http://www.grizzly.com/products/14-2-HP-Deluxe-Bandsaw/G0457).
I set up the bandsaw and have worked with it a fair amount but the blade “waves” back and forth no matter what wood I am cutting or how I am cutting it. It also turns corner poorly, almost as it hits the grain patterns. I have attempted to adjust blade tension and alignment, but can’t seem to make an improvement. I am using the blade that came with the saw.
Could this just be a blade quality issue?
Is anyone able to offer some help?
Thanks,
Mike

Issue Solved
Hi Surfside,
Thanks for your help. Between this and the Fine Woodworking bandsaw tuning video, I think I got this figured out. I needed to adjust blade tension AND set my blocks/wheels a little differently. I didn't realize there were blocks/wheels beneath the table.
Thanks,
Mike
